I could bring myself to pick just one, so here are my top three.

If you laugh, I laugh.
If you cry, I cry.
if you jump off a cliff,
I hope to God I can fly.

There are two ways to look at life. You can complain that the roses have thorns or you can be happy that the thorns have roses.

Love is blind.
God is love.
Ray Charles was blind.
Ray Charles is God.

Brooke stole mine!! Who told her about that quote? ME!
"Love is blind.
God is love.
Ray Charles was blind.
Ray Charles is God!"

My absolute favorite quote is..
"Why create regret when there is no remedy?"
My Uncle Bill said it all the time. He made sure everyone got the message before he died of Melanoma Cancer.

I couldn't pick just one so...

" 'I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord. 'Plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
- Jeremiah 29:11

"Life is not measured by how many breaths you take, but by how many moments take your breath away."
- I wish I could tell you who said this, but it was in a bathroom at a resteraunt. Yea, I dont go around reading framed quotes on bathroom walls, but I liked this alot so it just stuck with me, corny as it may be.:)

"Feel the fear and do it anyway."
- my friend actually told me this.

I have too many favorite quotes to choose from! But, if I had to limit it to a few:
1. "Nothing may last forever, but everything lasts a lifetime."
I don't know what inspired this quote, but it just came to me one day.

2. "I just think that some things are meant to be broken. Imperfect. Chaotic. It's the universe's way of providing contrast, you know? There have to be a few holes in the road. It's how life is." -The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen

3. "Please, please do not let my last moments on earth be me crammed into a tiny boat in the dark, surrounded by mechanical singing pirates." -Maximum Ride by James Patterson

4. "Tomorrow is not a promise, but a chance. It may not be there for you." - Cassie Bernall (victim of the Columbine High School shootings of 1999).

I have one quote that dominates all others in my world and it was spoken by a great American President.

"Ask not what your country can do for you, but ask what you can do for your country!" -Theodore Roosvelt

I live my life around this concept as I have always wanted to serve our country's military.

Austin - Not Theodore Roosevelt! That was JFK!

Okay, I had to participate in this one too. My favorite quote is from Mother Teresa.

"We can do no great things, only small things with great love."

Well I apologize. I got my presidents mixed up. "Speak softly and carry a big stick" is what i was thinking of. I did make up a quote: "For what is life but a giant ISPY book full of God's gifts and blessings for us to find"~~Your very own Austin Benson

One of my favorite quotes that I quite literally live every single day by is something my mom quoted to me by her all time favorite person and president Abraham Lincoln:

You're only as happy as you make up your mind to me.

My mom spurts this comment for every situation. When we found out my sister had cancer she repeated this to every single one of us and we eventually lived by it and even my sister found a way to be optimistic everyday until she was free of the cancer.

I remember the first time she told me this was when my brother was in the hospital for bipolar disorder and I was having a hard time coping with it. She is a very optimistic person and even she was having a hard time coping and when she told me this and my brother she even helped him so I know that for me this quote helps me get through every rough patch I have in my life.

It's my day by day motto and I live by it as heartily as I can.

"I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest. If you can't take it, you shouldn't play." Jack Lambert. Jack Lambert is considered to be the meanest person to ever play football. He was quiet off the field but made offenses crap themselves on the field. Look up a picture of Jack and you'll see why.

Now, since we can make up our own quotes, here goes. "A football team consists of 2 groups, lineman, and those who wish they had what it takes to be a lineman." -your ever lovin King.

Here is one.
"A man can walk into a room and remain silent and everyone will wonder if he is the smartest person in the room, or he can open his mouth and remove all doubt."

or

"It's your right to be stupid, but it doesn't have to be."

I always remember my mom saying "you can be whatever you want to be, as long as you put your mind to it", and I believe that more than anything because she as well as my dad have shown that to me.
No matter where you come from, you make up your mind of who you want to be and who you are. It's one of the last freedoms we have and i'll be darned if anyone would ever take that from me.

I just noticed one of Kaila's quotes is from one of the victims of Columbine.
If you're a big music person like I am there is a song by Flyleaf called "Cassie" and it is about the gun man at Columbine pointing a gun in her face (Cassie) and asked her if she believed in God. She replied yes, and he shot her. He did the same thing to another girl there names Rachael, as well as another girl which I can't remember the name of. He only shot Cassie and Racheal though, not the other girl. Flyleaf is a Christian rock ground and they're really good as well as are their lyrics. :] Anyway, I just though i'd tell everybody about that.

I'm a music person, so I have to go with song lyrics. And of course, I can't pick just one favorite.

Float On by Modest Mouse -
"Bad news comes don't you worry even when it lands.
Good news will work its way to all them plans.
We both got fired on exactly the same day.
Well we'll float on good news is on the way."

Slide Along Side by Shifty -
"But its still up to us to feel the rush
To pursue all the things only Gods can touch
I wanna meet the odds with royal flush
To fall
I gave my all
But it wasn't enough
I'm never giving up I found life
So I've gotta live it up
And life is too short for war
What can I say to show theres more
With people slammin' doors in my face and what for?
That ain't the way to gain plays
By making the same mistake day after day"

What I Got by Sublime -
"Life is too short, so love the one you got, 'cause you might get
runover or you might get shot."

Danny Callahan by Conor Oberst -
"That the love you feel you carry inside can be passed
You try, I know you do, you still talk to your plants
Ask, 'How are you getting on alone?'"
